When you hire our bins rest assured your rubbish will be disposed of responsibly. You can combine green garden rubbish and inorganic waste in your hired bin and we will dispose of everything accordingly, ensuring eco-friendly rubbish recycling whenever possible.

What Does it Cost to hire a bin?
Prices start at $310 (includes GST). This includes 48 Hour (2-day) weekday hire with FREE drop-off and pick-up. Or you can book a Weekend Special: Drop off Friday, pick up Monda
What Bin Sizes Can I Hire?
Choose from two sizes: 3m or 4.5m. The 3m bin is equivalent to approx. 12 wheelie bins or three standard trailers. The 4.5m bin capacity is 50% greater.
What Kind of Waste Can I put in a bin?
Any household junk, including old toys, furniture, electronics, green garden waste, recyclables, etc. For a complete list please see our Waste Types page.
What Weight Can I Load?
The maximum load limit is 500kg for a 3m trailer bin, and 700kg for a 4.5m bin. Bins are weighed before they are emptied. If the load is more than capacity, then a small additional charge may apply.
Can I put the bin on the road?
Yes. Throw n’ Tow are registered trailers and can be parked on the road.
Can I Lock The Bin?
Yes! Our skips are lockable to prevent unwanted access to the bin during your rental period.
Will The Bin or trailer Damage My Driveway?
No. Unlike regular skips, which are delivered by heavy trucks, Throw n’ Tow sits on a trailer and won’t damage the ground (i.e. the driveway) like heavy skips can.
What Happens to my recyclable junk?
Where possible, all rubbish is recycled.

When you hire a skip from Throw N' Tow, the price covers anywhere within 40km of Manukau City by road. For deliveries and picks ups beyond 40km, additional fees may apply
