The supply of a Throw n’ Tow trailer mounted skip bin is governed by these Terms and Conditions, which the company reserve the right to amend from time to time.
BOOKINGS – upon booking a Trailer Bin full payment for the Rental is required before delivery. Standard Rental Period is for 2 Days. If the Hirer wishes to keep the Trailer Bin longer than the period paid for, Throw n’Tow may at their discretion extend the Rental Period at an extra $25/day or part thereof. If the Hirer wishes to have the Trailer Bin picked up before the Rental Period ends Throw n’ Tow reserve the right at their discretion not to refund any monies paid.
CANCEL/CHANGE BOOKING – You are entitled to cancel or vary your order prior to delivery of the bin. However this must be done with enough notice (24 hrs) to prevent dispatch of the bin. Cancellation after dispatch may incur a charge for ‘delivered but not used’.
PRICING – All pricing is quoted in NZ dollars and includes GST. All prices are quoted on the delivery address provided and may change if the delivery address is changed.
PAYMENT – Payment may be made by cash (someone has to be present when the trailer is delivered or it may not be left on site), Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard) or Internet Banking. An invoice with the payment options will be emailed prior to delivery.
ACCOUNTS – Please note that for all accounts that payment is strictly on a 7 days basis following the date of the invoice. Any overdue accounts may incur penalty fees of 10% per annum calculated on a daily basis from the date the account is due until the date that the account has been paid in full.
USE & CARE OF THE BINS WHILST ON YOUR SITE – Please refer to the information sheet provided.
You must not:
- Move the bin whilst it is on site. If it has to be moved contact Throw n’ Tow and we will arrange for it to be moved
- Fill the bin any higher than the top of the bin. The lids must be able to close when the load is taken away
- Place any hazardous materials in the bin. See the stickers affixed to the trailers for a list of excluded items
- Light fires in the bins
- Mix hard fill and general rubbish in the bins
- Stand/jump on the lids
- Get inside the bin
- Open or operate the hydraulic motor box/controls
- Open the rear door
At all times be careful not to jam/squash your fingers, arms, legs in any part of the trailer.
All risks as stipulated in these terms and conditions of hire pass to the Hirer when the Trailer Bin is in the Hirer’s possession and control including any claims by any person for injury to person or property. The owner – Throw n’ Tow – shall not be liable for any injuries caused to the Hirer or any third party arising out of the use of the Trailer Bin during the Rental Period.
In the event of the Trailer Bin being collected in a damaged/or with parts missing state the Hirer will be held liable for the actual cost of the repairs or replacement parts.
The Hirer also agrees to pay lawyers’ fees and court costs involved on behalf of Throw n’ Tow in their having to take legal action to recover either the trailer, the value of the trailer or repair costs through the Hirer not complying with the terms and conditions of hire.
DELIVERY POLICY – After booking a Trailer Bin either by phone, email or website you may receive either an email or phone confirmation. We will attempt to deliver your Trailer Bin within 2hrs of your selected time. However unforeseen circumstances beyond our control such as traffic, weather may delay us.

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY – If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your “HIRE” with Throw n’ Tow we will give you a full/part refund provided you notify us within 24hrs of us delivering or before collecting the Trailer Bin. This refund policy does not apply to Trailer Bins that have been used or partially used. All Trailer Bins must be left empty and in the original delivered condition.
